Don't play with something you should cherish for life

Four years ago today, Elizabeth Webber & Ric Lansing married. It was a simple ceremony. Two people in love, a baby on the way. They were fun, sexy, passionate and smart. A delight to watch. To this day, they have been my favorite soap couple ever. There was so much chemistry between Rick & Becky. They just sparkled. They still do in the rare scenes they share these days.

I miss them.

2 days ago, someone on SZ asked when your fav was the happiest. I didn't reply, but my answer for Elizabeth is on her wedding day 4 years ago. I start watching GH during LnL2.v2 aka the JY days. Maybe she had her happiest moment back then. Or during the JJ days. I don't know. Since I've started watching, that's the day, May 22nd 2003. When Ric showed her the ring, she was glowing.

For one of the rare time in Elizabeth's life, someone put her first. Ric got her a ring. A really nice one too. Bling bling.

LiRic... were hungry for each other. They wanted one another. Ric screwed up but he loved Elizabeth so hard. He adored her. And she loved him back. He still loves her. And I have hope someday they'll find their way back.

I'm not saying Elizabeth hasn't been happy since then. She had 2 kids. Got married to Lucky twice. Still, I haven't seen her as happy as she was during her 1st wedding.

Oh, and as for Ric's happiest moment? May 22nd 2003. Yes, he was happy when Molly was born, but not blissful like 4 years ago.

I'm flying to Germany next week.
